Rosten, Leo Calvin

Rosten, Leo Calvin
(1908-97)
   American humorist. He was born in Lodz in Poland, and went to the US as a child. He later served in the US government. Under his pen name Leonard Q. Ross he wrote The Education of H*y*m*a*n K*a*p*l*a*n and The Return of H*y*m*a*n K*a*p*l*a*n. He also wrote the Joys of Yiddish.
